Halleluiah, FAT is in fashion

Girlin 3184 was plagued by puppy fat many, many years ago. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, mind you. When she reached the coveted size 0 (again, many, many years ago), it was the saddest time of her life.

Having fluctuated between sizes 8-14, she’s somewhere in the middle. Many in the industry would cite this as too heavy, but Girlin3184 is all about celebrating her curves and thinks you should too!

One of her male friends commented during Melbourne fashion week that the models were so thin he ‘wanted to vomit’. Pete’s perfectly straight in orientation (cute and single, too) so you can get back to your carbs. Woo Hoo! For an introduction, just shoot us an email ;)- (Side Note: we do apologise to those who are naturally thin.)

The kind of Fat we’d like to talk about today however, is of the retail kind, rather than the soft stuff.

Housing a wonderfully eclectic combination of avant-garde, contemporary and design school fashion, Fat has quickly established itself as one of Melbourne’s edgiest fashion boutiques.

Fat houses well known and independent designers including Cheap Monday, Bassike, Chronicles of Never, Kate Hurst, Ksubi, Lover, Nudie, Sass & Bide, TV (our favourite) and so many more...

From the quirky to cool, from the individual to the catwalk inspired, you’re bound to find something a little special to compliment your body type and style.
